JOB PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Transformation Lead will be responsible for the successful management and delivery of strategic projects, working with the Supply Chain leadership team to identify specific deliverables required to support the growth of the business. You will be responsible for the delivery of projects that support the Supply Chain function and will be required to manage timeline, budget and risks throughout.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design
- Manage development and deployment for a comprehensive strategy for the supply chain business processes, technology, and culture.
- The Supply Chain Transformation Lead is responsible for leading and managing transformation activity, which include project management, business analysis and stake holders across the business.
- Collaboration with stakeholders, such as senior management, functional leaders, and IT, to identify and prioritise transformation initiatives.
- Manage timeline and budgets for transformational projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop change management plans to ensure team members are prepared for the changes brought about by transformation.
- Monitor and report on the progress of transformation initiatives providing regular updates to senior management and other stake holders.
- Identify and manage risk mitigation associated with transformation initiatives
- Utilise expertise and knowledge of existing Logistic & Supply Chain processes and operating model to help determine the right future design and develop a future state which can be deployed across our business.
- Use skills in strategic level problem solving in complex environments to determine appropriate supply chain solutions based on sound understanding of the business.
- Work with the Supply Chain team to carry out best practice benchmarking that can be applied to the Aston Martin supply chain.
- Collect and analyse data to measure the effectiveness of existing business processes to develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
- Determine how modern technologies can support re-engineering of business processes and ways of working to improve the effectiveness of the supply chain.
- Identify cross functional improvements, define problem statements, and build clear business cases.
- Work closely with Procurement, Product Development and Supply Chain teams to understand future product and business strategy and the capabilities the end to end supply chain need to fulfil.

Planning
- Consolidate, prioritise, and monitor progress of the various transformation initiatives and ensuring the overall plan achieves our strategic goals.
- Ensure interdependencies in and between each initiative are clearly identified and managed.
- There is a robust handover process from design to deployment which includes working with operational teams to ensure successful implementation.

Delivery
- Support one or more transformation workstream and initiatives through the design, build and test phases.
- Ensure the innovative solutions are deployed effectively across our business with robust and rigorous handover to supply chain & cross functional teams.
- Engage across the business/3rd Party stakeholders to ensure business needs are captured, understood, and executed.
- Input into business case creation and benefits management ensuring alignment with finance on investment spend and benefit realisation.
- Co-ordinate internal cross-functional teams and third party resources needed to support the successful delivery of projects, with timeline and budget responsibility to ensure the project is delivered in line with stakeholder expectations.
- Actively manage risks and issues throughout the project duration ensuring escalation where needed to enable timely resolution.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects into the business through deployment of change management principles and broader training / engagement programs.
- Conduct lessons learnt at the end of a project to evaluate the success of the project upon completion and ensure best practice is incorporated into future projects.
- Be able to proactively identify deviations and inconsistences between actual and expected performance and timelines, using appropriate root cause analysis methodologies to problem solve.
- Drive continuous improvement, by piloting and testing new approaches.
- Use standard approaches and deployment toolkit.
