Goodman Masson have partnered with a leading Investment Management business who are looking to hire a self-starting Liquidity Data Analyst on a rolling contract basis (likely to be 12-months minimum). This role sits within the EMEA Finance - Treasury Planning& Analysis department, which comprises of three ket sub-areas; EMEA Liquidity Risk Policy, Data Assurance and Regulatory Reporting & Controls. Role description: The role is in the Liquidity Data Assurance team, which forms part of the Treasury department ofthe UK Finance Division. The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivery of numerous firm-wide data initiatives & work programs to enhance Treasury and Finance Data Management capabilities. It will include working with colleagues in London,Tokyo, Singapore, US and Mumbai. Specific responsibilities: Implement Data Management Framework for Liquidity Critical Data Attributes (CDAs) which involves defining and implementing Data Quality requirements, agreeing Data Service Level Agreement (DSLA) withowners/stewards and implementing Data Quality monitoring dashboards Engaging with global/regional Data Management frameworks and escalating persistent data issues via applicable management forums Work closely with upstream data providers to validate and analyseany data changes & resolving data quality issues Advancing tactical and strategic data quality remediation & validations (e.g. Ledger reconciliations), holding upstream providers to account Perform analysis into data quality issues root causes and new product/ business process, ensuring all downstream implications are understood and supporting effective prioritisation Monitor data quality controls associated with the inputs and outputs from the risk systems (this will include investigation of issues and reportingagainst the firm's KRI framework) Supporting product SMEs in identifying the trusted source of data for liquidity reporting purposes, agreeing and checking mitigating controls with manual data providers Review, challenge and approve explains on month end Liquidityreconciliation and Data validation MI Build strong relationships with various departments including Front Office, Product Control, Risk, Legal, IT and Senior Management across the bank Provide oversight of Powai Data Assurance team ensuring material data qualityissues are addressed on a timely basis in line with reporting deadlines Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new input sources and data enrichment in the Treasury Unified Data Model (UDM) Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required Liquidityexperience gained in an Investment banking environment performing front to back data assurance processes Knowledge of PRA (UK Basel 3) & EBA (CRRII) Liquidity reporting rules (LCR, NSFR, ALMM, Asset Encumbrance). Familiarity with JFSA Basel III Liquidity ruleswould be a distinct advantage Investment banking product knowledge (specifically Secured/ Unsecured Financing transactions & Derivatives) including front-to-back trade lifecycle knowledge and an understanding of their impact on Liquidity reporting Strong analytical/numerical/problemsolving/investigative skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Excellent organisational and planning skills, with proven track record of delivery Ability to understand and challenge the detail Good IT Literacy, with a strong Excel/ Data Analysisskill set Familiar with Investment Banking systems (e.g. Axiom) and data management techniques Familiarity with big data analytics/business intelligence tools (g.
