Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ an experienced Insurance Broker with previous experience in Real Estate/Commercial Property insurance.

**This is a unique opportunity to join a company in a serious phase of growth and one that will allow you to make the role your own.**

Our client specialises in Commercial Property Insurance as well as CAR, PI, Latent defects and other business insurances.

This role will involve building a book of Commercial Property Insurance business and helping to grow the book.

**Salary: £40k to £50k plus**(dependant on experience) **plus bonus and benefits.**

This would suit either a current client facing broker or perhaps a current Commercial Account Handler looking for the next step up.

**About the Insurance Broker role**:
You'll be building a book of Property insurance clients across a range of industry sectors.

You will be a point of referral to more junior members of the team and you will use your expertise and experience to help with queries and occasional training/mentoring.

You will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads.

**Main duties in this role**:

- Responsible for growing a book of Property insurance clients through new business / arranging policies for new clients
- Be a point of referral within the team
- Organise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all times
- Liaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention (renewals) of clients.
- Identify new markets, schemes and other opportunities to help grow the business
- Networking / business development

**The skills you’ll bring to the role**:

- Thorough Property Insurance knowledge of at least 2 years is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Organised and effective worker
- An aptitude for sales and new business

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Performance bonus
