Search Consultancy are working closely with a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of securities, investment management, investment banking, and wealth management services

**Job Title**: Finance Regulatory Specialist

**Location**: Glasgow

**Contract**: Proposed duration 12 month daily rate contract
- Maternity cover, 40hrs a week

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Knowledge and understanding of global outsourcing regulatory requirements; integrate new regulations into current process
- Create and maintain strong Inter-Affiliate governance framework, ensuring compliance with all global regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance to functional managers on effective supervision; supervisory model must adhere to global jurisdictional requirements
- Ensure global outsourcing control documents, including the assessment of associated risks, are accurate, complete, and consistent across teams
- Ensure timely completion of validations in adherence with annual requirements
- Ensure governance committee submissions are timely and accurate?
- Ensure monitoring and reporting of Finance evidence of supervision based on the Firms supervision standards.
- Manage through to completion regulatory and/or other ad-hoc projects and deliverables as required

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree
- 7-10 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance and a Interest in the regulatory requirements outsourcing and the associated documentation required specifically documentation and supervision

**Other Requirements**:

- Technical - Microsoft: Proficient in Excel including pivot tables, formulas and data manipulation, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint.
- Proactive - Self-starter, takes initiative, resourceful, able to get things done with limited direction, stays on task to drive results
- Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels including, team members, internal business groups and senior management.
- Team Player - Ability to cooperate, share ideas and work closely with team members in a small team and also to coordinate projects with an assertive, consultative style
- Confidentiality - Demonstrates high level of integrity given the sensitive nature of information
