Upholsterer

**Job Overview**
So you're an uholsterer, but do you want to be an upholsterer for one of the leading global brands in comfort?

**Responsibilities**
- Utilise power tools and hand tools to cut, sew, and assemble upholstery materials.
- Fabricate custom upholstery pieces according to specifications provided by clients or designers.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move materials and completed items throughout the workshop.
- Repair or replace damaged upholstery on furniture, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Maintain an organised workspace within the factory, keeping tools and materials in good condition and upholding 5S standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols when operating machinery and handling materials.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in upholstery work or related fields is preferred.
- Experience upholsterering sofa's and chairs and ability to upholster all parts
- Experience upholstering with both fabric and leather (desired)
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and sewing machines.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Capability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a warehouse environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Upholstery: 2 years (preferred)
