**Stock and Shipping Administrator**

**Are you a strong administrator looking to join a friendly team who really supports development and progression? Do you maybe have some experience in shipping administration and are ready for a new challenge?**

At **International Timber** we are looking for a **Stock and Shipping Administrator** to join our team, where you will be responsible for ordering, confirming receipt and invoicing our imported and exported stock.

You’ll be joining a friendly team of five other administrators based in our office in Manchester. There is a possibly of hybrid working after your six-month probation.

International Timber offers an unrivalled depth and breadth of timber and timber products to the construction, joinery and manufacturing sectors. We specialise in the import, processing and distribution of softwoods and hardwoods from around the world to offer our customers throughout the UK excellent choice, value, availability and service.

**What we’re looking for**:
For this role we’re looking from someone with high administration skills and computer literacy, but mostly importantly a strong communicator with keen attention to detail

Some key requirements include

Essential
- Good level of education with Maths and English GCSE minimum (essential)
- Computer literate (essential)

Desirable
- Knowledge of International procurement contracts, shipping documentation, shipping procedures, understand overseas payments.

**What will I be doing the role?**

Some key duties may include
- Devise shipping contracts with suppliers based on communication with Purchasing teams.
- Provide technical advice on shipping contracts/processes to Purchasing teams as required
- Take necessary action in accordance with specific contract when product is confirmed to be ‘in transit’.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to confirm ‘receipt’ of product within UK.
- Ensure invoices are passed at appropriate time for payment
