A large primary school in Walthamstow are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their school to work at a senior level to lead interventions and oversee classes.
**The Role**
In this Teaching Assistant role you will be working as a 1:1 SEN TA for part of the day, where under the direction of the SENCO and class teacher. You will support various pupils on a 1 to 1 basis and will have ideally have experience in this area. When not required in class you will be running interventions, such as social play groups, Lego therapy, SALT, reading recovery and more. The school have an excellent training team and you will be given full training for all interventions.
In addition to supporting pupils in small groups, you will also be required to cover some classes on occasion.
The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience within primary schools and is confident managing and leading groups of pupils. This is an ideal role for a teaching assistant who is hoping to train as a primary teacher in the future.
