Coveberry, part of the CareTech family, are a leading specialist healthcare provider, with Hospitals and centres throughout England, delivering wide ranging services in Adult Mental Health and Learning Disabilities, Specialist Brain Injury, Child and Adult Mental Health Services (CAMHS) including eating disorders, and social care for children with special needs.
We are currently looking to appoint Full Time **Ward Clarks **to join our team.
Are you a committed individual who wants to work with a company that understands how important the service we provide is to our Patient’s and resident’s recovery. You will be working with Young people and Adults with Mental health problems, Learning Disabilities and Autism at Cedar House.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Accurately filing patient documentation in patient case notes
- Updating information data onto the Care Notes system
- Accurately completing data entry tasks as required
- Attending ward meetings, setting up templates and taking minutes where required
- Collection and distribution of patient and staff mail
- Taking messages for staff and service users and accurately relaying them
- Report repairs and chase to make sure all has been carried out
- Deal with incoming calls professionally ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Liaising with the main administration building
- Organising petty cash requirements and collections
- Attending all mandatory training and any other training identified as necessary by manager.
- Report all adverse incidents, complaints or health and safety issues to the ward manager or nurse in charge.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities; the post holder may be required to undertake other duties following appropriate discussion with their line manager.

**Who we are**
**Cedar House** is a 40-bed hospital for adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, personality disorders, autism and challenging behaviours, who are detained under the Mental Health Act. Cedar House enjoys a beautiful rural location situated in the village of Barham, on the outskirts of Canterbury and is easily accessible by public transport, being on the main bus route between Canterbury and Folkestone.
