Sports Lecturer

**Sports Lecturer (with Optional Matchday Coaching)**:
**Salary**: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
**Location**: Hertford Town Football Club

**BHPP Academy**, in partnership with **Hertford Town Football Club**, is excited to recruit a **Sports Lecturer** to join our part-time further education programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and qualified sports educator to make a real impact on the next generation of players and professionals.

We are primarily looking for a **teacher** to deliver high-quality classroom learning, with the **possibility of coaching one of our football teams on matchdays (Wednesdays)** if desired. This flexibility makes the role ideal for educators with or without a coaching background.

You will deliver **NCFE Level 3 Sport qualifications** as part of a structured and supportive college programme aimed at preparing learners for progression into **apprenticeships, employment, or higher education**.

***About the Role**:

- ** Part-time hours**:

- Monday 8:45-3pm

Thursday - 10-11:30

Friday 8.45-1pm
- ** Term time only**
- Delivery of **classroom-based NCFE Level 3 Sport** qualifications
- ** Optional** coaching of a BHPP Academy football team on **Wednesdays (matchday)**
- Support with **GCSE Maths & English** delivery where required
- Contribute to a **positive, inclusive learning environment**

***What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience working in a **college, training provider, or sports education environment**
- A **degree-level qualification** (essential)
- ** Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training**, or willingness to work towards
- ** QTLS and/or PGCE** (desirable)
- An interest in football coaching (desirable but not essential)
- A passion for **developing young people** and helping them reach their full potential
- Strong **organisational skills and attention to detail**
