HR ADVISOR - LOGISTICS

We are looking for a
**part-time HR Advisor **to assist with the smooth running of our Logistics office located at
**Magna**
**Park, Leicester.**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide effective administrative support with regards to absence and performance issues
- Managing low level employee relation cases and assisting with disciplinary investigations and grievance hearings
- Implement effective on-boarding and induction plans
- Administration of new starter paperwork and contracts of employment
- Administration of leavers to include communication to the employee and manager, updating the contracts tracker and conducting face to face exit interviews
- Manage the recruitment and hiring process (liaising with third party agency providers as well as in-house recruitment team), providing guidance to managers on the process and ensuring best practice
- Assist in audit processes including the right to work process
- Co-ordinate and manage organisational changes including pay reviews, promotions and family leave
- Create and prepare HR reports
- Work collaboratively with the wider HR community to ensure successful resolution of all employee matters.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks and project work as required
- Support and coach managers on a wide variety of people related topics
- Support the implementation of the people plan and specific HR projects; such as change management, succession planning and talent management initiatives
- Ensure compliance with policy, procedures and current legislation;
- Co-ordinating payroll and annual engagement survey

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience of working in a busy HR Advisor role within a distribution environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using Workday desirable
- Experienced in managing HR-related issues including absence management, grievance and disciplinary
- Well organised with an eye for detail and an on-going understanding of current HR practice and legal requirements regarding employment law and related topics
