Working for a globally leading software design company that is at the heart of the worlds most advanced digital products we have an amazing opportunity for an experience Research Engineer on a 6 month contract.
We get hands on with both academic and industry collaborators, to deliver state-of-the-art impactful research using our technology. We work with Tier 1 research and ecosystem partners to charter then deliver challenging PoC (Proof of Concept) integrations.
**About you**

**The role**
As a Senior Research Engineer, you will join a small highly motivated and experienced team of SoC Designers and Researchers responsible for delivering impact through aggressive PoC (Prove of concept) engagements that are based on Intellectual Property/IP andsoftware technologies.
We anchor our efforts in engagements that couple research output with practical PoCs (Proof of Concept) and seek to work with ecosystem partners to ensure that the results that drive value are complimented by the required technology innovations in the restof the ecosystem.
**For our current project**
As part of an exploration into next generation Security Enclaves (SE), our Research Team plans to investigate ways to automate the generation of SE’s based on partner requirements and power, performance, area, and security. The project requires knowledgeof hardware design, automation flows, scripting languages and embedded software to determine the best approach and deliver a PoC.
Based on this work, develop transferable technology output delivered either to internal product teams or ecosystem partners in the form of reference designs, flows, documentation, contributions to open-source software or standards that accelerate valuegeneration for the business
Produce excellent technical content for internal stakeholders and our external partners

Experience with scripting tools, and file including yaml and json
Experience with RTL hardware description languages.
You will have hands-on experience with simulation-based verification using SystemVerilog and UVM including specification and design of the test bench, developing tests and debugging issues.
Knowledge of C/C++, compilers and flows
Experience with UNIX development environments and scripting skills.
**Desirable skills**
Experience with SoC integration flows and AMBA (Advanced Microcontroller Bus Architecture) protocols
Knowledge of low power design techniques
Experience with FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) prototypes
