**EXPERIENCED HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR HNW PROPERTY IN CENTRAL LONDON**

**Salary**:£35,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience

**Status**: Live-out

We are assisting a HNW family with the recruitment of an experienced and hard working full-time Housekeeper for their large property based in Central London. The property has been finished to the highest specification and will require a Housekeeper with an exceptional eye for detail, specialist knowledge of how to care for high-end surfaces such as marbles, rare woods, and glass as well as a ‘can-do’ attitude to keep this home in pristine condition.

You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure that very high standards of cleanliness are maintained across the property, and will also be jointly responsible for laundry, ironing, wardrobe management and inventory management. A fully staffed household, the family are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Housekeeper with a team-player mentality to remain with them long-term.

The family live overseas and use their London property as a secondary residence, so usual working hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm. When the family are in residence (their visits are usually short) flexibility will be required to work longer hours and weekends with overtime paid.

**DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Cleaning including dusting shelves, blinds, baseboards, ceilings, windowsills, and other surfaces in the home
- Cleaning bathrooms kitchen, stairways, and other household areas and leaning floors and carpets using steam or shampoo machines
- Polishing silverware, dishes, and other items that need to be cleaned but cannot be washed in a dishwasher
- Maintaining inventory of household supplies and equipment such as toilet paper, soap, light bulbs, etc
- Making beds and changing bed linen
- Laundry - wash, dry, iron, send for specialist care
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience and communicating with clients about scheduling changes or problems with existing arrangements
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances and adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
- Tending to pets or performing other household maintenance tasks that do not require extensive training or expertise

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**:

- Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household or 5-star hotel
- High attention to detail and the ability to work quickly without compromising quality
- Good prioritisation and time management skills
- Trustworthy and reliable; good team player
- Good grasp of the English language and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Right to live and work in the UK
