**Purchasing Officer**
**The Role**
- Raising purchase orders
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers
- Negotiating prices for parts and materials
- Monitor supplier performance and raise any concerns to management
- Monitor stock levels and replenish accordingly
- Attend production meetings and update production managers and supervisors on part availability
- Generating new part codes for new parts
- Handling of GRNs
- Setting minimum and maximum stock levels
- Other purchasing admin duties
**Essential Criteria**
- 3rd level qualification or relative experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to negotiate
- Confident with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Good computer skills
