We are looking for a new member to join our team at **Jewson Winchester (SO23 7SQ)** as a **Tool Hire Assistant**
As a **Tool Hire Assistant,** your role will be essential to keeping our branch and tool hire department running smoothly. This role has a strong focus on customer service, driving/delivering and general tool maintenance in the workshop.
We’re a busy and well established branch with a friendly team who pride themselves on offering a great service and excellent product knowledge. We have a sales office, warehouse, shop & counter, timber supply and customer delivery vehicles.

Experience within our industry is not essential, we are committed to providing you with the full tools and support required to carry out your role within Jewson. Some specifics we're looking for from you:
- Experience in a customer service role with a friendly and approachable manner
- Experience in using/maintaining tools, although full training will be given to get you up to speed
- A full and clean driving licence is essential for this role
**Hours of work**: 7:30am-17:00pm Monday-Friday and 8:00am-12:00pm every 2nd Saturday

- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders
- Organise tool hire delivery and collection for equipment whilst keeping customers updated throughout their journey
- Attach trailers and tow equipment to sites vehicles (training will be provided)
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
