**Role Profile**:
We are looking for an ambitious, hands on, qualified finance professional to support the Group Financial Planning and Analysis function. This is a great opportunity to gain a wide knowledge of the business, involvement in key financial analysis and to buildrelationships with senior management across the Group.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Taking a leading role in the Group planning / budget / reforecast cycle, including the challenge of business plan submissions from Group businesses and the preparation of presentations and analysis for Senior Management and the Group Board
- Developing a process to monitor performance across the Group to identify areas requiring investigation and further analysis, and communicating issues and conclusions effectively to Group Senior Management
- Work closely with the Group Business Development Team to support Group initiatives and projects, including financial analysis of the Group’s UK and International Businesses
- Performing ad-hoc financial analysis to assess various aspects of the Group’s performance, including deep-dive reviews into various business segments
- Providing financial and analytical support for Group level projects to support management decisions
- Providing general support and ad-hoc analysis as required by Group Finance managers and Group Senior Management

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- Qualified accountant with strong academic background with approx. 5 years PQE experience and strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Commercial outlook is essential, and experience of preparing business plans, producing detailed financial analysis and Board reporting would be beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with and influence all types of people and all levels of management
- Self-motivator, pro-active in all aspects of the role
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential, and proficiency in using other MS Word and PowerPoint
