Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within ENABLE Scotland by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes - whatever they may be

Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

ENABLE Scotland creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

David has a great interest in farming, the outdoors, taking pride in his garden whilst growing his own vegetables with staff support, as well as going for drives in his car. David enjoys planning fun day activities such as theatre, concerts and pantomimes. David enjoys a holiday to visit family with his staff. A typical day could be supporting David with his daily routines including some elements of mínimal personal care, support with medication and planning David's day which could include going to get groceries, dining out and keeping David up to date with the local and national news (Especially the football scores) David participates in an exercise routine to maintain mobility and independence. David enjoys preparing and planning new interesting recipes.

David enjoys spending quality time with his staff team on a 2-1 basis. David is excited for you to be part of his dedicated and committed team.
