**Shop Assistant**

The Balloon Tree is looking for a **Casual Shop Assistant** to support our Farm Shop Team (18+ Only)

**About Us**:
Join The Balloon Tree team as an Shop Assistant, working closely with our Farm Shop Manager to uphold exceptional standards in our bustling Farm Shop. Located in the heart of our vibrant farm, you'll oversee a wide array of local produce, artisanal goods, and gourmet treats. Our shop is renowned for its commitment to quality, offering everything from fresh seasonal produce to handcrafted delicacies. As an integral part of our team, you'll ensure a seamless shopping experience for our diverse clientele, from local regulars stocking up on essentials to visitors seeking unique farm-fresh specialties.

**Contract**: We are looking for an individual who can work **very casually**, the purpose being to aid in covering holiday and peak times of year. Some weeks there may be more available work than others, day shifts only, with some weekends. This may suit someone working around child care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prioritise and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Assist the Farm Shop Manager in the day-to-day tasks needed in the farm shop.
- Ensure efficient and appropriate service at all stages.
- Prepare Barista-style drinks.

**Personal Specification**:

- Previous experience in customer service with a customer-focused approach and high standards.
- Barista experience is not essential, but welcome.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Team player

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality.

**How to Apply**:
Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
