Are you passionate about safeguarding children and if so are you interested in joining a supportive safeguarding team as a Safeguarding Children Advisor?

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) safeguarding team is seeking to recruit to a Safeguarding Children Advisor post that has become vacant due to the promotion of the current postholder.

As a Safeguarding Children Advisor, you will be required provide specialist safeguarding advice to our frontline staff and managers, deliver safeguarding supervision and to work in partnership to ensure children and young people are safe and protected.

In return we will support you in further developing your safeguarding kills and expertise and there will be ongoing training opportunities through the CLCH Academy.

- To initiate and where appropriate take lead responsibility for service development activities.
- To provide facilitative and supportive leadership to the team and colleagues;
- To participate in a regular appraisal process with the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children.
- Where appropriate to deputise for the Named Nurse Safeguarding Children during periods of leave/absence.
