We are currently recruiting for a part-time customer receptionist to join our busy team. We are a family owned business that has been operating from the same site since the 1940s. We have both a petrol station and automotive workshop. We have a loyal customer base and many of our customers have relied on us to look after their vehicles for generations. We are a small, friendly and enthusiastic team who place good customer experience at the heart of everything we do.

You role will encompass both aspects of the business (Fuel sales and automotive workshop). Experience of working within a retail environment is essential. Although this is largely a customer facing role we expect you to work as a team with our excellent automotive technicians. Training will be provided. Approximately 14 hr per week. Morning and/or afternoon shifts (current opening times Mon to Fri 0830-1730)

Your main responsibilities include:

- Greeting customers and providing full reception support
- Use our computer system to organise the workshop diary, prepare invoices and provide estimates.
- Authorising fuel sales and serving customers
- Receiving fuel deliveries
- Stock control and management including accepting and checking new deliveries, re-stocking shelves and date checking
- Daily cashing up and handling invoice payments
- Liaising with suppliers
- Ensure the reception and all customer areas are kept clean and comfortable at all times
- General administration duties

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 14 per week

**Salary**: £10.18-£10.42 per hour
