Company Bakery are hiring a Logistics Co-ordinator to work with our Bakery Operations Manager to oversee our wholesale bakery operations Wednesday - Sunday.

We are predominantly a wholesale bakery making sourdough for some of Edinburgh’s best venues. We also have a regular stall at the Castle Terrace Farmers Market, deliver locally and nationally, mill our own flour and bake a most delightful range of laminated pastries.

**Duties**:
**Managing the packing and delivery team including but not limited to**:

- Weekly rota
- Holiday scheduling
- Health & safety compliance
- Signing off on open/close checklist

**Overseeing upkeep of all delivery warehouse and vehicles including**:

- Adhering to maintenance schedule
- Regular vehicle safety checks
- Maintaining customer key record

**Stock management**:

- Ordering all packing supplies
- Customer shorts / over monitoring including the implementation of digitalised system

**Delivery Dispatching**:

- Optimised route management (currently via Circuit)
- Daily packing manifesto sign off
- Team management
- Ongoing data analytics for improvement - mileage / driver hours / delivery volume

**Skills**:

- Google workspace experience
- Working with business apps e.g. Circuit for drivers, Google Sheets, Slack
- People management
- Intermediate IT skills e.g. Excel, printer trouble shooting
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean driving license

**Person requirements**:

- Able to manage repetitive tasks

- People person - need to be able to lead
