We are looking for 2 Technical Trainers for contract positions here at HMRC. You will be working on the Data Platform Services (DPS) team training the latest pool of Associate Data Engineers. You will be helping to shape and develop their future by providing the relevant skills they need. **Essential Skills Required**
- Five years of commercial / industry experience in a Data Engineering field
- Ability to identify, plan, design and develop training.
- Ability to deliver training and explanations/solutions in a confident and professional manner
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of training programmes and learning outcomes.
- Ability to work with an innovative and flexible mind-set championing new ideas and delivery styles
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with an ability to communicate business and technical information to groups with a range of learning abilities.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners of varying learning styles and abilities
- High standard of interpersonal skills to gain credibility and maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders.
- A confident and adaptable communicator, you will be able to help upskill and develop trainees.
- Experienced designer and deliver of training
- Flexible and self-motivated
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Support, mentor and coach learners using various learning technologies, providing feedback in a supportive and constructive manner.
- Develop and maintain course materials, training documents such as hand-outs, manuals and exercises using both eLearning and online resources.
