**Role**: Accounts Receivable & Credit Control Assistant**
**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm**
**Salary**: £25,000 - £27,000 (Depending on experience)**
**Location**: Hardwicke, GL2 4PH - At Gardiners, we encourage hybrid working.**

**With our customer base growing rapidly, we're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an **Accounts Receivable & Credit Control Assistant**. You'll play a crucial role in managing key accounts to minimize financial loss and ensure smooth transactions. This role is perfect for individuals seeking diversity, as it involves traditional Accounts Receivable tasks, non-traditional Credit Control responsibilities, and managing the financial flow of our key accounts.**
**What will the key responsibilities of the **Accounts Receivable & Credit Control Assistant** **entail?**
- Collaborating with internal departments and external contacts to resolve queries promptly.
- Handling tasks such as raising credit notes, posting payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Regularly reviewing the Aged Debt Report to identify accounts needing attention.
- Following our debt recovery procedure to reduce outstanding balances.
- Liaising with Sales Managers to understand any special terms agreed upon.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and negotiate effectively.
- Clear communication skills to explain financial information.
- Strong team-working abilities with attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and forward-thinking approach.
- Self-sufficiency and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel for data manipulation, v-look ups, and formulas.
