A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Housekeeping department.

We are looking for a Room Attendant to join our team at Bloc Birmingham Hotel in the trendy Jewellery Quarter area.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a passion for cleanliness and high standards.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Proactive, can do attitude.
- Ability to deliver warmth, charm, and hospitality in every aspect of the role.
- Has real pride and passion for what you do.
- Be able to adopt a positive and flexible attitude to changing priorities and procedures including changes to shifts/rotas
- Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience of working of a similarly physically demanding role is desirable.

As Room Attendant / Housekeeper you will:

- Ensure that all company operational standards are met in line with quality, cleanliness, infection control, health and safety and business needs.
- Be responsible for the upkeep of all bedrooms, corridors, and public areas within the hotel.
- Ensure that all maintenance issues are reported immediately and followed up as required so that all bedrooms are maintenance free.
- Be professional and highly organized.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and stored properly.
- Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff, and visitors to the home by becoming an integral part of the team.
- Have a friendly yet professional persona.
- Be a strong team player.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
