**About the Role**

**Salary**: £51,600 - £77,400 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

To support the expansion of work and Keadby 1 and 2 Power Stations, SSE Thermal are looking to recruit an Asset Maintenance Lead. In this newly created role you will have a number of key responsibilities, including:

- Provide a comprehensive, professional maintenance engineering service for all station equipment. Ensuring that the safety, reliability, flexibility and efficiency of the plant and equipment is maintained to meet the Company's requirements.
- The organisation and delivery of day to day proactive and reactive maintenance of station plant and apparatus, including resource planning, budgeting and personnel / contractor management.
- Supervising a team of Maintenance Engineers and Technicians.
- Management of short term outages inclusive of programme development and resource planning.
- To actively contribute to the continuous improvement of SHE performance at Keadby.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Degree level or equivalent qualification/experience in an appropriate engineering discipline, supported by experience of Power Station engineering or maintenance.
- Experience of supervision of engineers and technicians, will work well in a knowledge sharing culture and have a flexible and proactive approach to work in order to achieve results.
- Proven ability of projects/outage development and management, ensuring safe working methods are established and maintained.
- Proven knowledge of maintenance strategies in a process/power environment.
- The ability to deal with evolving priorities, whilst being well organised and commercially aware.
