PWIDF Ltd is an established company specialising in the supply of Ironmongery, Doors & Fixings to the construction industry.

We are Q-Mark accredited Fire Door & Security Door manufacturers from our factory in Newport, South Wales.

We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, self-motivated highly organised person to join our expanding team.

Job role:
Daily duties:

- Taking enquiries / orders from customers on the trade counter
- Entering the requirements on to the computer system
- Picking the goods required and packing for despatch
- Checking the items with the customer to ensure everything is present and in line with their requirements
- General merchandising of the counter area
- Ensuring that the counter area is kept clean and tidy
- Receiving goods into stock ensuring that the delivery is complete and damage free
- Booking goods into stock on the computer system
- Raising any delivery/quality issues with suppliers and completing the relevant paperwork
- Labelling products ready to be put into stock
- Putting away stock into the correct locations
- Organising any product returns to suppliers
- Picking materials required for door manufacturing and liaising with production staff
- Ensuring that all works are carried out as per the health and safety requirements and in line with our all of ISO accreditations
- Working with other departments to ensure maximum efficiency throughout the warehouse, trade counter and packing area

Essential skills:

- Previous sales experience with doors, ironmongery and construction fixings (in house training will be given but a base knowledge is essential)
- Good communication skills
- Warehouse experience
- Good IT skills (Excel/Word/Sage etc)
- Good customer service skills

The offer:

- Monthly paid earnings based on 42.5 hour working week, consisting of the hours 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
- 20 days paid holiday per annum (plus Bank Holidays) with an additional day for each year’s service completed up to a maximum of 25 days (plus Bank Holidays)
- Permanent position with standard SSP and pension.

**Salary**: £30,000 per annum plus bonus from increased sales revenue
