**Job Specification**

USP Steels are looking to add to its current teams across the shifts. Opportunities will be available on Goods In, Morning shift and Night shift depending on the individual and experience.

You will play an important role at USP Steels and be responsible for assisting the shift in multiple areas including picking, prepping and loading vehicles by overhead crane in a safe and timely manner. You will ensure that all stocks are quality checked, correctly labelled up and loaded to the USP standards required. You may also be part of our Goods In team covering incoming material offloads, with overhead crane and if required forklift truck. You will be expected to ensure visual quality checks of all incoming material are completed and the information reported correctly via tablets that will be provided.
- Loading vehicles (overhead crane)
- Unloading vehicles (overhead crane)
- Visual quality checks. Using a 'tablet' to take photos and record the checks
- Organising stocks, picking, prepping sheet & plate steel products
- Work safely whilst achieving business demands and KPI's as a team

We are looking for individuals with the drive to work hard in a fast paced environment and to work as part of a team to help us achieve the level of quality and service we desire.
- Steel sheet experience essential
- Overhead crane licence essential
- Positive attitude to achieve success

**Hours / Pay**
- We are looking to recruit across multiple shifts so basic wage will range from £11.44 - £12.76 depending on skills / experience
- Position is full time, 39 hours per week with overtime available (including weekends). 25 days holiday per year plus national UK holidays
- Shifts / hours to be discussed and agreed depending on role.
- Where shift allowance applies this will be basic rate above x 1.2
- USP Steels operates 24 hours
