**Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;**
**To fulfil Traffic Management activities on the network of Milton Keynes and surrounding areas**

**Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;**
**Able to carry out basic safety, quality and environmental audits and risk assessment**
**Able to understand and carry out work as set out in a specification**
**Able to take responsibility for traffic management**
**Use of PDA as required**

**Formal qualifications required;**
**Driving Licence**
**HGV licence (not a necessity)**
**NRSWA**
**NVQ2**
***
**Skills required;**
**Able to carry out basic safety, quality and environmental audits and risk assessment**
**Able to understand and carry out work as set out in a specification**
**Able to take responsibility for traffic management.**
**Able to participate in Winter Maintenance Activities**

**Experience required;**
**Generally hold 18 months+ experience**

**Knowledge;**
**Traffic Management Qualifications**

**Personal qualities;**
**Prepared to participate fully in team work**
**Prepared to work varying hours to meet the needs of the business**
**Prepared to develop and undertake relevant training and qualifications**
**Able to complete record sheets, paper or electronic**
**Able to take responsibility for plant, equipment and vehicle defect inspections**
**To understand and be responsible for their own safety and that of others**
**To be available for emergency and/or winter call outs**
**Able to manage others, taking responsibility for the organisation of specific jobs**
