**Purpose of the role -**

To take responsibility for designated activities relating to ERP system and coordinate activities resulting from deviations to standard processes within the cell.

**Main Responsibilities -**
- Releasing manufacturing orders in line with master schedule.
- Conversion of spares orders into daily production requirements.
- Transacting completed manufacturing orders.
- Scanning of KANBAN items to ensure material is reordered
- Processing, recording and transacting material rejects and scrap.
- Making material changes to manufacturing orders due to permits.
- Process and transacting code conversions.
- Shortage logging, retrieving and supplying shortages to cells
- liaising with procurement to understand material shortage expected dates
- Identify opportunities for improvement to ensure repeat material shortages are resolved
- Investigating and correcting material errors due to manufacturing order conformation (COGI errors)

**Skills / Experience -**
- Educated to A-level or equivalent is desirable
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, SAP desirable
- Understanding of manufacturing principles
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work with detailed information in a logical and organised way
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Confident with working on own initiative
- Excellent IT literacy, being a competent user of MS office
