**Area for post vacancy: Brent, Greater London.**

We pride ourselves on being specialists in the provision of support services to providers of supported housing for vulnerable people.

We are looking for people who can demonstrate that they:

- have empathy with vulnerable people
- are experienced in working with vulnerable people

**The key aspects of the role include**:

- Full time role (Monday to Friday, 9am till 5pm)
- Rate of pay **£11.95 - £13.10** **per hour (dependent on contractual arrangements).**:

- Working as a housing support worker who will provide housing related support to vulnerable adults and those from various and complex backgrounds, to support them with independent living, providing a low-level preventative service, with support to improve their skills, resilience, and pathways to independence. This will include floating support and meeting clients outside of the main service.
- Participate in, and encourage residents and participants to participate in the running and development of projects, social enterprise initiatives, training, volunteering or work experience. Support them with service specific activities and opportunities.
- Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with local housing representatives including, but not limited to; Homeless Prevention Officers, Local Landlords, Housing Benefit Team, Allocations Department, Temporary Accommodation, Housing Associations, Hostels, Supported Housing Schemes, Rehab Facilities.
- Complete participant records, reports, support plans, risk assessments, case notes, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders as required and with accordance to policy and procedure.
- Leading on any emergencies that may arise including liaising with emergency services as appropriate.
- an **Enhanced DBS Certificate less than 3 years old (Essential)**:

- Experience of caseload management in a supported housing environment or similar (e.g. care)
- experience working with vulnerable clients with a variety of support needs.
- excellent communication and administration skills
- an ability to create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and customers
- a clear and robust understanding of professional boundaries
- a solid work ethic and ability to always remain vigilant
- a high level of personal integrity
- the right to work within the United Kingdom

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £11.95-£13.10 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- caseload management (supported housing): 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Enhanced DBS (required)
