Duties:

- Assist Residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting.
- Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of Residents in accordance with their care plan and assessed risks.
- Assist in promoting the health and wellbeing of Residents in accordance with their personal choices and planned care
- Observe, monitor and accurately record Residents’ physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
- Encourage Residents to participate in meaningful social and recreational activities.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of the home and undertake specified training and development to enhance your skills and abilities.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £10.90-£11.90 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 38.5 per week
