Technical Order Processor/ Sales Administrator

Mercian Labels is seeking to strengthen our team through the appointment of a Technical Order Processor. Working with a highly sophisticated bespoke ERP system, you will ensure accurate orders are processed in a timely fashion.

**Main Responsibilities**:
- Creating & quoting for a range of complete label specifications
- Providing accurate and timely quotations ensuring most economically advantageous method is selected
- Process accurate and understandable orders for production
- Be able problem solve and find solutions to produce labels as specified
- Working alongside and communicating requirements to pre-press & production departments
- Fulfilling and supporting all administrative processes
- Taking responsibility for investigating departmental non-conformance
- Providing support to other departments when necessary
- Liaise and speak directly to customers and colleagues as and when required and support when necessary
- Ensuring all departmental KPIs are met including 100% accuracy for order processing
- Fulfilling tasks to support the business plan as and when required
**Skills & Experience**
- **Experience working in a technical administrative role** in a fast paced manufacturing /distribution environment is essential
- Strong IT skills and attention to detail are essential
- Knowledge and understanding of print/print production are desirable
- Excellent organisational, telephone and administrative skills are crucial for this role
- Strong numerical ability
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach and the ability to work calmly, rationally adhering to tight timescales
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently and work under pressure
- Polite and professional with friendly and helpful attitude
- Commercial acumen and strong understanding of profitability
- A passion for continuous improvement
- Prepared to learn new skills
- Print / labelling experience would be advantageous
**Qualifications/Education/Training**:
- High level of computer literacy; Word; Excel
- Typing/ Word processing advantageous
- GCSE English & Maths
