You will be joining one of the world leaders in the field of additives for the processing and manufacturing of polymers and is a speciality supplier of additives to the sealants, paints and coatings market.

We are looking to recruit a Plant Support Chemist for our Eccles, Manchester site.

**About the Role**

Working as part of the wider laboratory team at our Site in Eccles, Manchester, and in close liaison with Plant Management and the QC Department, the job holder will be required to:

- Identify and implement corrective activities for plant failures.
- Assist in investigating and responding to customer complaints.
- Provide plant support for routine production whilst supporting product development.
- Process improvement projects to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Additional responsibilities will include collating results, writing reports, and delivering results formally or informally as appropriate.

**Requirements - Education and Experience**

The role would suit a recent graduate, educated to degree level in Chemistry or another relevant discipline with some previous experience of working in a laboratory environment, gained either through studies or in industry. Knowledge and understanding ofISO 9001 would be advantageous.
