We are currently recruiting a Kitchen assistant to work in one of our professional kitchens within Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. You will be aiding the chefs and culinary staff in the preparation of food for the restaurant, and other food outlets on campus. This is a great starting point for a career within Catering and Hospitality and you will be working with a talented team of chefs

**The ingredients for success**

Ideally you will have had previous experience in a similar role, however, people wanting to get into this role with no experience will be considered. Your mission is clear, you must assist the team in delivering first class food to our customers, and to support the kitchen team.

- We have 2 positions available, 1 x20 hour term time contract, 1 x 10 hour term time, with an hourly rate of £9.50. **What you’ll be doing**:

- To maintain food hygiene, service & presentation to standard
- To aid the preparation of food for the chefs
- To maintain a high standard of hygiene in respect of premises and self

**Qualifications and experience needed**
- Experience in industrial catering would be of benefit but not essential
- A passion for food and service
- Flexible approach to hours and duties
