We have a rare opportunity in Clacton-on-Sea for Heat Pump System Quality control to join our team at CB Heating, one of the most respected names within the renewables sector.

As an established heat pump business with over 20 years of experience and significant revenue growth over the past 2 years, these new positions are required to support future expansion plans on a national scale following our partnership with EDF one of the UK’s largest energy suppliers. As a Heating System Quality Control Officer, it is your responsibility to ensure that heat pump system designs are accurate, have the correct materials and equipment required for each installation, and provide technical support to the team.

We are looking for individuals that want to get involved in the heat pump revolution No prior design experience required as we fully train inhouse. A background in Plumbing, Heating or construction would be an advantage.

As a Heating System Quality Control Officer, it is your responsibility to ensure that heat pump system designs are accurate, have the correct materials and equipment required for each installation, and provide technical support to the team.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Quality check of ASHP system designs.
- Identify any technical issues that may arise during installation based on the completed design.
- Liaise with designers regarding any changes required to the design.
- Create a materials list for the installation using our in-house software.
- Ensure that the design provides a clear picture and understanding for the installer and customer.
- Discuss the design and customer responsibilities with customers via telephone.
- Support the design team with your installation experience.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and installers always.
- Always deliver excellent customer service.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Follow departmental workflows, procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Maintain accurate and complete records on the customer database.
- Communicating with customers and installers through various channels.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
- Following all company policies.
- Any other tasks requested by your line manager.

**REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Qualified plumber/heating engineer to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- G3 unvented qualification
- Water regulations qualification
- Gas Safe/F Gas qualified desirable but not essential
- Level 3 qualification in domestic heat pumps is desirable but not essential.
- Over 5 years of experience in the installation of heating systems
- Over 5 years of experience in the installation of ASHP
- Computer literate

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
