We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Microbiologist - Environmental Monitoring to work at a GMP Pharmaceutical facility in Kinsale, Co Cork, on a Permanent basis. This position is offered as a Monday to Friday day-time position.

The primary purpose of the Lead Microbiologist - Environmental Monitoring role is to lead a team of analytical microbiology staff.

As a Team Leader, the Lead Microbiologist - Environmental Monitoring will have a broad range of responsibilities, including the following key responsibilities;
- Lead a lab-based team of microbiologists is operating at the highest quality and productivity standards, with a GMP pharmaceutical production facility.
- Ensure the team has high morale and shows good levels of retention
- Ensure that client requirements are entirely satisfied and that client expectations are met or exceeded through effective leadership and quality operational management.
- Be the key point of contact for the client on a day-to-day basis.

To be considered for the Lead Microbiologist - Environmental Monitoring role, you’ll need the following skills, qualifications and experience;
- Substantial experience working in a pharmaceutical industry GMP laboratory
- Be a good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills.
- Be passionate about quality and client service.
- Have good communication skills both internally and externally.
