**Job Title**: Parking Project Engineer **Location**:Working from home **Employer**:Pertemps Recruitment Partnership for Harrow Council **Contract Type**: Temporary Assignment **Hours of Work**: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday **Overview of a Parking Project Engineer** Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated Parking Project Engineer to join an expanding team. The role of a Parking Project Engineer has a competitive pay rate of £300 day rate, increasing in line with Harrow Council Pay Scale increments. **The Main Purpose of a Parking Project Engineer**: - Support the translation of a high-level strategic vision through the delivery of the cashless parking project. - Lead officers through the project management process to ensure successful delivery and resolution of risks and issues. - Work closely with commercial partners to ensure that the project is deliverable within the council. - Act as a key point of contact for managers and staff and advise as necessary on the direction of the cashless parking project. - Report to appropriate project and Council bodies on progress and issues. - Manage changes to requirements through the Council's agreed change process. - Ensure that Quality Assurance processes are implemented and Lessons Learnt developed and presented to the Project/Programme Boards when and where required. - Ensure that the project is integrated with other Council projects and programmes. - To propose, plan and implement workshops and events to promote the scheme if and when necessary. - To work closely with the Communications Team to develop a robust stakeholder engagement strategy. - 6-8 years' experience of managing large parking projects and programmes - Experience of working with cross-functional teams - Experience of managing project and programme budgets - Experience of working in an environment requiring effective interface with members or other political representatives would be an advantage. - Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills - Professional qualifications in Managing Successful Programmes and/or PRINCE2 or equivalent professional experience - Traffic Orders - drafting, reviewing and advertising - Driving License PCV (passenger carrying vehicle) - Original Qualification Certificates If you have the necessary skills and experience for this role please click 'apply'. **About us** " For almost 60 years, Pertemps Recruitment Partnership has been the market leader in providing permanent and temporary staffing solutions and we are one of the most established players within the recruitment industry.
