**ROLE TITLE**: E-Commerce Assistant **ROLE SALARY**: £26-28k - based on experience **ABOUT LANX**: LANX is a rapidly growing Lancashire-based footwear brand celebrated for its quality footwear for both men and women. LANX is on an ambitious path of further growth and is eager to expand the team with people that share our values and commitment to quality. **ROLE OVERVIEW**: Reporting to the E-Commerce Lead, the E-Commerce Assistant will help keep the LANX Shopify+ website running smoothly and looking sharp. From managing product listings to monitoring site performance, you’ll be hands-on with daily operations, supporting the team to optimise the online shopping experience and drive sales. This role is about staying organised, paying attention to detail, and keeping the site in line with our brand. **ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Website Management & Merchandising_ - Keep product listings up-to-date, accurate, and visually in line with LANX standards. - Support with merchandising, making sure collections and categories enhance the shopping experience. - Assist in setting up and maintaining promotions, ensuring all offers are displayed accurately. - Coordinate with the creative team to upload images and banners, keeping the website visually consistent. - Performance Monitoring & Reporting_ - Track website performance metrics, like traffic, conversion rates, and customer behaviour, using Google Analytics and other tools. - Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the E-Commerce Lead, highlighting key insights and improvement areas. - Keep an eye on customer feedback, identifying recurring issues to improve user experience. - Customer Journey Optimisation_ - Work alongside the E-Commerce Lead to improve the customer journey, ensuring seamless navigation from product browsing to checkout. - Support CRO initiatives to boost conversions. - Help test new site features and updates, ensuring everything works smoothly for users. - Collaboration & Support_ - Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to integrate product launches and promotions across the website. - Work with external partners on any technical updates or improvements. - Provide general administrative support to the e-commerce team as needed to keep things running smoothly. **SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**: - 2-3 years experience in a similar ecommerce role - Basic knowledge of Shopify+ and e-commerce best practices. - Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools for tracking performance. - Strong attention to detail, with a knack for organisation and accuracy. - Ability to work well with different teams and keep tasks on track. **WORKING ALONGSIDE**: You’ll work closely with the E-Commerce Lead, Creative, Marketing, and Operations teams. **REPORT TO**: E-Commerce Lead **YOU’LL FIT RIGHT IN IF**: - You’re a stickler for detail and enjoy keeping things organised. - You’re eager to learn about e-commerce and grow with the role. - You’re adaptable, proactive, and ready to support wherever needed. **WORKING DAY & HOURS**: - Full time - Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5pm **PLACE OF WORK**: - LANX HQ, Whalley, BB7 9YE - Remote working not available in this role **ANNUAL LEAVE**: - Permitted 28 days annual leave per year - Permitted a maximum of 5 days of annual leave in October each year - Due to an exceptionally busy trading period, not permitted to take annual leave in November, December and the first 2 weeks of January - There may be a Christmas shut down in December for all staff, for which annual leave must be used, dates tbc - Please note bank holidays are regarded as normal working days at LANX - however staff may request these as annual leave **MUST WORK**: - Annual Sample Sale Weekend - usually March, date tbc - 2 additional days around Black Friday - usually end of Nov - For the above additional days annual leave will be granted, or you can be paid 1.5 your normal day rate **EMPLOYEE BENEFITS**: - 40% off all full priced LANX footwear - Annual staff wellness day - fully paid - Heavily discounted gym memberships at > per4mhealth.co.uk - In-house HR support & company pension - Monthly staff social - expenses paid for/ subsidised - Company pension - Christmas party, all-expenses-paid staff Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company events - Company pension - Employee discount - Gym membership - Health & wellbeing programme - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Clitheroe BB7 9YE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - Do you have basic knowledge of Shopify? - Have you worked in the
