This unique and rapidly growing charity are currently exclusively partnering with Robertson Bell in their search for a new Head of Finance and Resources to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Director, this role will manage asmall team and be at the forefront of all things finance for the charity, whilst overseeing a range of other operational functions. The charity has recently been experiencing a period of phenomenal growth, so there are lots of exciting changes and high-profileprojects on the horizon that this role will drive, so there has never been a more exciting time to join

**The key duties of this Head of Finance & Resources role are as follows**:

- Be accountable for the organisation’s resources whilst leading the finance, IT, Facilities, HR and Governance functions.
- Take the lead in the preparation of the annual budget and in-year reforecasts.
- Work closely with the Director in the development and establishment of the organisation’s financial strategy and long-term business planning, developing and updating financial models.
- Introduce a delegated budget process across all relevant departments, encouraging budget holders to take a greater degree of ownership for their financial performance.
- Managing the wider finance and operations team, offering opportunity for necessary development and training and ensuring a high performing culture.
- Manage all year and month end activity, including management of the audit schedule and production of management information packs for presentation to Board.
- Maintain relationships with outsourced service providers and oversee the charity’s HR strategy.

This full time Head of Finance & Resources role will officially be based out of the charity’s head office in London however flexible working from home will be on offer. It will suit someone who has previous experience working in a senior accounting role,ideally within the charitable sector, who is now looking for the opportunity to add value and help shape the future financial architecture of a growing organisation.
- A background working in a senior finance role of a similar capacity.
- Experience of, or the desire to design new financial processes and make improvements.
- Previous experience managing or supervising a small team.
- Experience managing areas outside of finance (desirable).
- Preferably, a background working in the charity sector, but this is not essential.
