Overview of an Infrastructure Technician
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated Infrastructure Technician to join an expanding team.
The Main Purpose of an Infrastructure Technician:

- To promote and participate in the Council’s investors in people (IIP) and individual performance appraisal and development (IPAD) initiatives and information management best practice
- To ensure compliance with the Council’s information security policies and maintain confidentiality
- Prepare detailed drawings, maps, stat drawings, estimates, designs and technical reports across a range of specialist engineering areas and to a high standard for approval
- Contribute to the development and assist with the implementation of appropriate systems to enhance service delivery
- Carry out online consultations
- Analyse various reports and data analysis
- Basic competency in one or more basic engineering discipline and traffic design technique
- Experience in the use and operation of Exor CAD, GIS and imaging software and other appropriate electronic systems, and with a view to developing CAD skills
- Must be able to respond to online queries
- Must be able to design drawings for schemes
- Must be able to record information to spreadsheets
