**Job Summary**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to elderly residents in a care home setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of our residents. This position requires strong communication skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with both staff and residents.

**Duties**
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents in daily activities, promoting independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Implement and monitor individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Supervise junior staff members and provide guidance as needed to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on resident status and care needs.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and any changes in their condition.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to senior care and IT systems used within the facility.
- Drive company vehicles as required for transporting residents or supplies.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with residents and their families compassionately.
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- IT proficiency for maintaining records and communicating within the team.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties.
- A caring attitude towards elderly individuals with a commitment to enhancing their quality of life.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: £13.28-£15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
