Romford, United Kingdom NELFT NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Come and be part of one of our newly planned, integrated mental health & wellness teams in Havering. These new teams merge assessment and early intervention and recovery teams, removing the need for a two-tier service and no more hand off of patients from one service to another.

We are looking for an experienced administrator to support our new Mental Health & Wellness Team. You will be required to work as part of an administrative team who provide comprehensive and confidential secretarial and administrative support to support its smooth running.

We have had new investment in mental health worker posts, peer support workers posts, support time recovery workers and administrators to support the integrated team to work as one around the patient, their families and their social networks. Our vision is for this new investment to help start a new era in our mental healthcare provision at NELFT, making us among the most holistic, relational and person-centred services in the country.

Our aims include a greater focus on prevention and wellbeing and delivering more integrated and personalised care closer to home. By working with Primary Care Networks (PCN) and local partners in each borough, NELFT propose to support plans by using a “Neighbourhood Team” model of care to develop multi-agency, integrated and place-based care to support people with serious mental health needs to receive their care closer to home.

In alignment with the Community Mental Health Framework for Adults, we intend for our teams to be trauma informed and person-centred, putting relationships back into the heart of care.

Key responsibilities include general administrative duties, booking appointments, minute taking, updating the patient records system, providing reception cover and answering incoming calls, and assisting the medical secretaries with document management.
