Yard Operative

**WB Employment** are looking to recruit several **Production Operatives** to join a company that is making a positive change in renewable resources. As a valued employee you will be help with the production of Aggregates that will be used in making building materials such as bricks and lime mortar. This can be a dirty job at times due to the nature of the product, but full PPE is provided.

**You will need to have your own transport due to the location**

**Main duties**
- To assist with manufacturing process
- Reporting to the Team Leader and working closely with other staff.
- Monitor the manufacturing production line.
- Being responsible for housekeeping and minor maintenance of the Aggregate Manufacturing Plant.
- Proactively taking responsibility for themselves
- Follow instructions and procedures, without constant supervision and with due regard to safety and operational requirements.
- Ensuring full compliance with all legal and operational requirements.
- Assist the Team Leader to carry out daily, weekly and monthly tasks as detailed in the site manuals.
- Help identify potential breakdowns with the plant,
- Assist with maintenance and materials handling, to ensure continuous operation.

**Other duties**:

- To inform the Team Leader promptly when a task is completed and request instructions for the next task.
- To assist the Team Leaders to ensure that all required daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are completed and recorded properly,
- Ensure that any shift issues are reported at the earliest opportunity.
- To ensure the Plant and site are maintained in a clean and tidy condition, including cleaning of mixers and confined spaces using tools such as pneumatic hammers.
- Willingness to undertake training and learn new skills, required for efficient operations, such as operating mobile plant, plant maintenance, first aid, confined space working etc.
- Carry out any other duty required by the Team Leader or Site Manager

**Shift and pay - weekly pay**:

- £15.21PH = (Salary £31,636.00)

This is a 3-week rotation shift pattern, please see below
- Week 1 - Monday to Friday - 6am to 2pm - £15.21PH = (Salary £31,636.00)
- Week 2 Monday to Friday - 2pm to 10 pm
- Week 3 Sunday to Thursday - 10pm to 6am

This can be physically demanding role so you will need to be physically fit and able to work both in doors and outside.
