?The Functional Skills Tutor will plan for, teach and support learners to complete their Functional Skills in maths, English and ICT, from Entry Level - Level Two. The Tutor will be preparing learners for examinations to gain the appropriate qualifications to support their chosen apprenticeships. Training sessions will involve individual and group delivery on a weekly basis. Additionally, the Tutor will monitor and maintain a robust tracking system to record achievement and retention.
**Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required**:
? Level 2 Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT?(Essential)
Level 3+?Teaching qualification (or commitment to achieving this?in the required timeframe)?(Essential)
Relevant degree and/or appropriate level professional qualifications?(Desirable)
Previous?experience of delivering?Functional?Skills programmes?(Essential)
Working knowledge of Apprenticeship/Traineeship or AEB funded courses?(Essential)
Complete qualification administration to required standards for awarding body and verified by IQA/EQA
Must be able to keep learner records accurate and up to date
Be able to plan for and adapt to meet individual learning needs
Actively participate in Quality Improvement Plans and Self-Assessment Reports
- Must be prepared to travel nationally if required. *
Benefits Package

The salary bandings are £22,248 - £32,053 per annum (FTE) for unqualified applicants and £25,586 - £36,803 per annum (FTE) for qualified applicants.
