It is an exciting time to be joining the Mayoral Combined Authority. We have a wide variety of exciting projects that we are working on which will help shape the West Yorkshire region.In 2021 the £1.8bn devolution deal was secured for West Yorkshire. This meant the first Mayor of West Yorkshire was subsequently elected, with Tracy Brabin taking up post in May 2021. - Reporting into the Travel Centre Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:_
- To sell and/or issue prepaid tickets, passes and permits and issue passenger Information in accordance with laid down procedures. Provide advice for tourist and passenger information for bus and rail services.
- Be a visible and enthusiastic team member, encouraging partnership working across the organisation.
- Take a pro-active approach to participating and delivering of your directorate’s objectives.

**About You**
- You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:_
- Educated to GCSE level or have equivalent relevant education.
- Practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role with cash handling experience.
- Enthusiastic and totally customer focused, able to work under pressure and act on your own initiative.
