**Hours**:35-40 hours per week
At _The Wandering Kitchen _we are responsible for the catering at Queenford Lakes in South Oxfordshire. Our café is set on a beautiful lake and at the lake you will find a fantastic selection of businesses: Oxford’s Wet n Wild (water park), Oxford’s wakeboard and waterski club and Queenford Lakes Outdoor Swimming. We operate a café/bar as well as an outdoor catering area..
We pride ourselves on the food and drink that we produce, we source ingredients locally and make everything from scratch. We love our customers, those that are involved in the water sports and those who come to the lake for our food and atmosphere. We are passionate about providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for all our customers.
What we are looking for someone:
- Responsible, punctual and capable of running the front of house occasionally
- Passionate about the customer experience
- Able to create a vibrant atmosphere
- Positive attitude and can brighten others days
- Ability to work under pressure and in busy situations
- Barista trained
**Job Summary**:
The FOH Supervisor assists the Cafe Manager and Assistant Manager in running an efficient and profitable operation of The Wandering Kitchen. They are responsible for ensuring that the café meets Company standards in sales, staffing, product quality, visual merchandising, and operations and will be required to open the cafe or close the cafe on their own occasionally. The FOH Supervisor assists the Cafe Manager with the goal of providing customers with excellent, quality products and fast, friendly service. They will be expected to have significant product knowledge and demonstrate positive, friendly and courteous customer service. They will be expected to show understanding of what is happening day to day and season to season in the cafe and to assist the FOH Manager and Assistant Manager in all areas.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
