Main Purpose of Role: As our Production Planner, you’ll be the yeast we need to create weekly production plans and amendments for our Milton Keynes site. Your role is crucial in ensuring we achieve our target customer service levels and inventory goals, all while maintaining our high-quality standards. You’ll optimise medium
- and long-term production capacity plans to ensure labour, output, and stock holding align with our budget assumptions throughout the year.

You will be responsible for:

- Crafting and amending weekly production schedules that stay within target inventory levels, deliver customer service targets, and optimise OEE and line utilisation.
- Ensuring labour and materials are available on time to deliver these plans and achieve CTP targets.
- Leading planning meetings and engaging with senior leaders.
- Identifying and working with Operations to solve plant capacity constraints through Planning Meetings, S&OP Demand & Supply reviews.
- Optimising inventory for own produce in line with cyclic scheduling processes.
- Medium
- and long-term planning through running plans and hours models supporting the Budget process.
- Working cross functionally with all stakeholders.
- Working closely with demand planners to meet customer service level KPIs and providing advance notice of events allowing for efficient forecasting and planning.

You will have:

- Solid experience of supply chain planning experience within the Food Manufacturing sector experience of frozen devisable
- Excellent organisation skills and results-driven.
- Able to work autonomously.
- Strong time management skills.
- Data-driven with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in delivering objectives.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint Presentation.
- MRP/ERP understanding/experience.
- A sound background in line scheduling and sequencing with a good understanding of inventory optimisation to achieve target customer service levels.
- Analytical with the ability to seek and structure required data sources and communicate it back in a simplified way.
- High-level knowledge of common IT tools (we use Microsoft Dynamics AX12, SO99+, Microsoft Office).
