Axon Moore are excited to be partnering with a highly successful manufacturing business based in Leeds, as they look to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their expanding finance team. The role is being offered as a 6 month fixed term contract tosupport their rapid growth and SAP implementation.
As the Purchase Leger Clerk you will have the following duties:
- Processing a high volume of purchase invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Deal with any invoices in query
- Complex query resolution
- Preparing payment runs
- Ad-hoc additional finance tasks
To be a successful applicant to the role, you must:
- Have previous Purchase Ledger experience
- Be Educated to GCSE level including English and Maths (A-C / grade 4 or above)
- Have excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Possess the ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise your workload
- Be competent on MS Packages (Including Microsoft Excel - V-lookups, pivot tables, sum-ifs)
The role offers a hybrid working structure and flexible working hours, within a supportive and friendly working environment. You will also have the chance to get involved in an implementation process, as the business are currently undergoing a transition overto SAP.
