**Job Title**: Structural Welder/Fabricator
**Location**: Batley, West Yorkshire
**Salary**: Up to £16.50 per hour (DOE)
**Working Hours**:

- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM

**Overview**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Structural Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Batley. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator to work on a variety of steel structures within a well-established and supportive company, offering consistent hours and attractive workplace benefits.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and weld structural steel components according to engineering drawings
- Perform MIG/MAG welding (mainly mild steel) to a high standard
- Measure, mark out, cut, and prepare materials for assembly
- Operate various fabrication tools and machinery (saws, grinders, drills, etc.)
- Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet production deadlines
- Follow all health & safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a structural welder/fabricator
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Proficient in MIG welding (additional welding skills are a plus)
- Skilled in using hand tools and fabrication machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working with mínimal supervision
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in fabrication/welding is desirable but not essential
