We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our showroom team at our Wigan store.

Kitchen Emporium is a bespoke kitchen manufacturer with a showroom in Wigan and a factory in St Helens.

As a showroom assistant you will be tasked with meeting a greeting our customers. This will involve guiding them around our showroom and helping them choose their dream kitchen. You will be listening to their requirements and providing them with solutions that we offer. You will also be tasked with answering the telephone, taking enquiries and booking appointments for our designers.

You should be conversant with Microsoft word and be organised and IT literate.

Key responsibilities:
Maintaining the highest standards of showroom appearance and keeping showroom clean at all times.

Smart professional appearance at all times.

The ability to multitask and work in a quick paced environment.

The ability to be able to deal with and follow through to a conclusion customer enquiries/leads/complaints.

Ability to be able to speak and engage with clients in a friendly manner.

The ability to learn new products and processes.

Must be I.T literate.

Ensuring the highest levels of customer interaction and service and assisting other staff.

Also have the ability to work on own initiative and sometimes alone.

Answering the telephone in a professional manner and dealing with any enquiries from start to finish.

Processing and taking orders using the POS card machine terminal

The business operates 7 days per week and the ability to work weekends on a rota basis is essential.

Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9.30am - 5.00pm. Sunday is 12.00 until 4Pm.

We pay double time for Sunday even though we are only open for 4 hours. There would be a day off in the week to keep the days to 5 days working which equates to 37.5 hours per week.
