We are supporting a leading FMCG business in their search for an additional Engineering Team member. The business operates Monday to Friday and the Maintenance team work a 3 shift pattern (6am to 2pm/2pm to 10pm/10pm to 6am). There is a structured growth planfor the Engineering team with clear goals to increase skills and salary.
As an experienced Engineer, you will be joining an established team and will assist with the maintenance of all manufacturing plant, equipment and facilities to ensure all is in good working order. You will also be working with others to improve equipment reliabilityand operational OEE of manufacturing plant.
**Main responsibilities**:

- Carry out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner.
- Carry out PPM schedules as necessary and planned works orders as required
- Make full use of the Piranha CMMS maintenance system for work reporting and recording
- Fault diagnosis of varied production equipment and factory systems
- Work alongside external contractors to ensure projects/installations are completed to the required standards/timelines
- Liaise with production staff in order to identify ongoing issues and work through to implement improvements to processes
- Play a key role in carrying out root cause analysis to ensure that long term fixes are in place for site performance issues

**Requirements for the role**:

- Must have a full mechanical or electrical apprenticeship to a minimum of level 3
- Preferably have some form of multi-skilled status
- Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
